Hmm, is Brodecki an underager as I JUST signed him?
Is Burakowsky STILL an underager since he has turned 20?
Middleton is still in juniors though.

Yep.
For the current season (2014-2015), all players born in 1995 and after are considered underaged.

This is incorrect. As soon as a player turns 20, he is no longer considered a underager.flyergp21 wrote:Yep.

OTT, he is right that you are at your max but Burakowsky and Brodecki do not count as underagers.

Lakos should have 1 game for injuring Nash. I'll take care of it tonight, as well as the lines you mentioned above for tonight's sim.MartyFromOTTAWA wrote:I actually promoted Graves as Lakos is suspended I guess...Tampa Bay GM wrote:I didn't do it because I thought you had 3 underagers already.

Only one game for injuring the league's best player seems like a bargain.

Well, you're AWARE that any demotion has to be notified right here (It's in he current rulebook) in this section in order to actually avoid that kind of mistake...Nero Avalanche wrote:Commish Bub(NYR) wrote:TO and 2-ways have nothing to do with waivers.Nero Avalanche wrote:Coyle wasnt supposed to be on waivers.

Most demotions aren't posted anymore. And it doesn't really avoid that kind of mistake, it just makes people aware of it a little sooner.MartyFromOTTAWA wrote:Well, you're AWARE that any demotion has to be notified right here (It's in he current rulebook) in this section in order to actually avoid that kind of mistake...

Exactly, so it's your own problem if you demote a player thinking he's not waiger-eligible but he actually is.Vik (Habs) wrote:Most demotions aren't posted anymore. I've posted enough of them by now that people shouldn't be expecting to get away with intentionally demoting someone waiver eligible without throwing him on waivers so seems to me, if it happens, it's probably an honest mistake. Our rules lead to that happening at times so I don't see why we shouldn't just let him keep Coyle so long as he stays on the pro team.

We need a simple system to deal with this; I don't think first time offenders should lose the player in question.

I'm saying POSTING demotions has a purpose: avoiding roster management mistakes.

Re: Official Waiver Wire Thread
Demotions have long been posted here by tradition, esp as some (ahem) have difficulty figuring out what counts as waiver-eligible and what doesn't. That's the way it will continue for the time being. When in doubt, POST IT.
Having said that, Coyle will remain with Colorado.

I think the only fair solution is for Coyle to retire so that nobody gets him.
