Good Evening Folks, despite Kevin and Martin hoping they would get a "re-roll" if I didn't update the schedule to make sure Detroit was the home team, nice try. I did. Unless I wasn't supposed to do that... Then... Oops?

To the game, much to Kevin's (DET) chagrin Dallas scores 2 within the first half of the first period and there's very little drama afterwards. Gettin' Snuggy with it in the 2nd makes it 2-1, but DET can't stay out of the box, giving Dallas 6 PPs total, but most importantly 3 in the third. No, Dallas doesn't score on it, but that's a lot of time down the drain to mount the comeback.

The bell rings ding-ding and Dallas moves on 4-2 to face STL in the West. We have two new teams battling it out this year compared to last, though Martin is far from a newbie to the conference finals.
