Okay, game 7 in the latest NY-NJ matchup and my first sim of the playoffs
The Devils get off to a great start, Alexander Alexeyev scoring just 68 seconds into the game, but the Rangers counter with three straight goals before the 8min mark.
Carter Ashton brings the Devils within one early in the second, but Matthews restores the two goal lead a couple minutes later, and the Rangers go into the third with a two goal lead...
...which they quickly blow, as Dalton Smith and Ashton bring the game level in the first 5 minutes...
but Fraser Minten scores his first playoff goal at at 46:31 and MDC ices the game two minutes later, pushing the Rangers into the second round of the playoffs.
