Game 4 WCF, DAL at STL. Both teams make lineup changes, including Topias Leinonen getting his second start of the playoffs for STL. Will it pay off? Well, he lets in the first goal of the game to Noel Gunler, but Kyle Connor replies 75 seconds later and then Olli Juolevi gives the Blues their first lead of the game.
Period two starts off with a bang - Arthur Kaliyev and Andre Burakowsky score in the first four minutes to give the Stars back the lead, but then Owen Beck replies and we head to the third tied. Can the Stars prolong the series? Unfortunately, Alex Galchenyuk's holding the stick penalty gives STL their fourth powerplay of the game, and Kyle Turris scores a minute in. Rasmus Dahlin adds an insurance marker with two minutes left and coach Brett Hull throws in the towel. Shots were 22-17 DAL through two periods but 6-6 in the third where Leinonen was perfect. And somehow the Blues have swept the West's top two seeds consecutively and have a 11-game winning streak going into their second EHEC Finals appearance.
