Two sweeps are finished off in 4-2 fashion tonight, while Shane Doan steps up to help the Coyotes take the series home tied at 2. The Sharks head home with their backs against the wall after dropping both games in Texas.

4 GA - 22 SV 5 rating
2 GA - 18 SV 8 rating (lol what? .900 gets you an 8 rating?)
4 GA - 23 SV 5 rating
4 GA - 14 SV 4 rating

Russian goalies - fucking useless.

And on a different note:

2nd: Max Talbot
3rd: Dan Cleary

For our CapsGM who loves putting pictures up! Just kidding Timmy I love you. :D Great season for your team and the series could have went either way... I consider myself extremely lucky to have won in 4.

I don't know if SJ's thinking is anything like mine, but to me, starting your backup in the playoffs is like throwing in the towel. I know I sure agonized over letting Bryzgalov start another game for Phoenix EVER, but if I gave Auld the start and he lost, I wouldn't be that surprised or disappointed. And I wouldn't have quite enough impetus to dump Bryzgalov for good. I don't want an excuse or justification for losing, I want to know that I put the best team I could on the ice and gave them every chance to win.

Also, FUCK YEAH, home ice advantage is mine again. And that Connolly kid... he just by-God gets things done out there. And of course Doan is the fucking MAN. I just have to figure out WTF is wrong with my special teams.

So much more of a refined game than that of hockey. I've never met an intelligent hockey player.

I'd dammit slam my mouse, but this really wasn't a surprise at all. Would've been nice to take one though. Tim, I'll see you on those greens, though I might have more shots out there than my Sabres did this series.

It was sarcasm.

However, point taken if I was serious.

If playing your backup is throwing in the towel then Dallas must have whipped their towel so fucking hard it broke Nabokov's jaw.
