With a lack of good prospect in the organisation, Kings GM Hugo St-Jean has made couples of trades to acquire 3 2nd rd draft pick. Firstly, GM trade Patrick Elias to Detroit for the 31 pick in this year draft. Then St-Jean trade Brian Rafalski to the Winnipeg Jets for the 41 selection of the draft and finally trade prospect Taylor Beck for another 2nd rd pick, the #52.

The Kings will like to find at this year draft, a Goal-Scoring forward to play on Brayden Schenn lines. A good 3rd/4th line player, preferably a center and maybe a defenseman, but the Kings will take the best player available.

Kings GM St-Jean will continue to try to move up in the draft, acquiring 1st rd pick is still possible. St-Jean has try to get a 1st rd over the past couple of days but unsuccessfully.
