New York Rangers sends G Marek Schwarz (54)
to Det for #58 overall (2nd round pick 2011)
Adds depth and young talented goaltender in case of injuries to Toskala or Mccollum. Also improves AHL (whoever doesn't get #2 job at NHL level)

Re: Det-NYR
Confirmed.
Schwarz wasn't going anywhere for me behind Lundqvist, and Larsson has a higher CON. I'll just need to refill my depth in Hartford, but there's a lot to choose from on that account. Plus there are a number of decent players that will probably still be around at #58.

Trade under further deliberation by Committee following Committee discussions when re-assessing 2011 draft class.
Will update ruling later.

After further review, this trade is rejected.
After seeing Rinne go for 36 and then the potential Gustavsson deal for 77, which has not been ruled on, Schwarz and his uselessness with 52 CON cannot go for a 2nd round pick. There are far superior goalies left in this draft class right now let alone FA in the file.
