David Booth's hat trick highlights tonight's 10-game sim. Mike Knuble will miss a month for the Flyers thanks to a wicked slash from Zdeno Chara. Pavel Kubina picks a good time to make an appearance with the OT game winner for the Sharks over the Avs. Tampa Bay and Detroit win skills competitions while Henrik Lundqvist saves the night for the Rangers in overtime. John Tortorella, when asked for comment, simply muttered "Fuckin' A."

Solid W. Was worried about this one, and team pulled out a convincing win, I think the 8 PP's helped. Savard keeps the ball rolling, (talk about another good off-season acquisition) and Kuznetsov and Hemsky 2 points each. Chara is starting to turn around his season as well. Rematch with the Devils up next.

Other notes:
- Luca Caputi beat Steven Stamkos in a fight.

Of course he did. Why would that happen anyway?
That OTL pisses me off a lot.

That's, uh, not really what I was expecting but I'll take the win. The three-headed monster is back in the Pacific and for that matter, what are the Jackets doing near the top of the standings? I guess I shouldn't have told Adam to be patient.

The Slaterfest comes to an end, but nice to see "Pouty" Higgins step up to the plate.
