Eleven January contests are in the books on this Tuesday night. Apparently Ottawa has strung together a couple of wins, a trend that in some circles is known as a winning streak. My Jets take advantage of an injured Devils squad, but not without a response to the Kovalchuk injury. Patrice Cormier tangles with ZB4 and wins the tussle. Fortunately, Logan Couture settles things down with a successful fight of his own.

Nashville comes away with an impressive win at MSG as King Henrik takes the night off. Ryan and the Flyers are the latest donators to the Minnesota Wild pity foundation. Pittsburgh scores five unanswered at home to beat the Hurricanes. (WSH, TB, and I are all appreciative.) Theodore comes through for the Capitals; while Budaj comes up short for the commissioner.

TB is heating up, Wayne Gretzky 3D hockey style. San Jose and Calgary decide a defensive showdown in the shootout.

FUCK

The new 2nd line completely fails and I was hoping Tokarski would get the job done but he shits the bed as well. Atleast Enstrom(-4 tho) and Hall had solid nights with 3 points each. After 9 games without a goal, Hall has been on FIRE in the last few games.

Glad to see EHEC's Battle of Ontario is just as disappointing as the real thing. Also thanks to Mike Van Ryn for injuring Kadri a while back, just in time for my game against Ottawa tomorrow.

Huge props to Getzlaf, Nabokov and Cole for pulling a win out of an otherwise weak effort at home. Also of note: Worcester is now 23-0-0-1. Good times.

We are now officially the EHEC San Jose Sharks of 2011-12. Dan, you can thank me now. You're safe for the rest of the season.

Seriously? Jesus christ, that's pathetic. Can't even fault Budaj. That's on the PK and the offense.

Still trying to figure out how Jochen Hecht is on my 1st PP unit. Guess I might change that for the Nashville game.

Outshooting San Jose on their home ice and leaving with a single point is a good thing I guess.

Can't complain with three straight wins despite injuries piling up. This road trip will be a good test to see if I need to make any drastic changes...
