Re: 2012 EHEC Entry Draft First Round
Ladies, gentlemen, players, general managers, scouts, and fans, welcome to the 2012 EHEC Entry Draft! We just completed our third successful season and hopefully there are many more to come. I'd first like to thank the city of Pittsburgh for its hospitality this weekend (month) and for hosting this terrific event.
Some dreams are going to come true for the players of the 2012 Draft Class and it's important to recognize their hard work and dedication, as well as the sacrifices of their parents, coaches, and other family members to get them to this point. So much goes into getting yourself to a level like this and they should be commended for it.
(applause)
Congratulations go out to Dan Taranu and his San Jose Sharks for their tremendous playoff run and to Tom Kennish and his Winnipeg Jets for their dramatic turn-around in reaching the Stanley Cup Finals. Now, we turn the page and look forward to the 2012-2013 season.
A heartfelt thank you to all of my GMs, player agents, trade Committee members, backup trade Committee members, those who helped with the hosting costs, and everybody else who has their hands in this process. I couldn't do this without any of you.
Without further adieu, the Minnesota Wild are on the clock with the first overall pick in the 2012 EHEC Entry Draft!

Re: 2012 EHEC Entry Draft First Round
On behalf of the entire Dallas organisation, I'd like to thank our phenomenal fanbase for sticking with the team all through the debacle that was last season and, speaking personally, I want to thank my predecessor for screwing the team up badly enough to put us in this position. Without the darkness you can't appreciate the light, and the light will shine all the brighter on the American Airlines Centre next year as, with the fourth overall pick in the 2012 EHEC Entry Draft, the Dallas Stars are exceptionally happy to select, from the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Mickey Blue Eyes, MIKHAIL GRIGORENKO!

Anyhow, with the 14th overall pick in the EHEC draft, the Buffalo Sabres select Radek Faska of the OHL's Kitchener Rangers.

The Winnipeg Jets wish to apologize for holding up the draft with trade discussions. We would also like to congratulate the Stanley Cup Champion San Jose Sharks for a great series. Even after the merciless injury Logan Couture suffered at the hands of Michal Rozsival. (Jokes.)
With that out of the way, the Eastern Conference Champions are pleased to select C Adam Gilmour who is currently committed to Boston College.
