Where did this guy come from? He's never been drafted and he's too young to be UFA-eligible. If he was eligible for the 2012 draft someone for sure would've snagged him.

Re: Artem Klein
Klein was in the 2012 draft class. He's in the player list in the box in this post: viewtopic.php?p=21764#p21764Parker wrote:Where did this guy come from? He's never been drafted and he's too young to be UFA-eligible. If he was eligible for the 2012 draft someone for sure would've snagged him.
As far as signing undrafted FAs, we don't have a rule on it, but it has been done before. That said, I don't know how old those UDFAs were when they were signed. Usually, guys just rollover to the next draft class.

Re: Artem Klein
League rules notwithstanding, I know EHM won't let you sign guys off the CSB post-draft until they hit 20.
Re: Artem Klein
After further review I see he was in fact available in the draft. I guess I forgot how many of those 6X POT good ceiling guys were still left at the end.
I already signed Blake Pietila and Stephen Miller to UFA contracts when they were both 19 and those went through without any problems. I assumed these guys were drafted then released like Luke Lockhart and Travis Brown, but according to EHM they were never drafted. I guess I can't complain about this signing in light of that.
If there are any objections to my underage UFA signings I'm willing to release Pietila and Miller back into the draft pool. I doubt they'd get picked as they're not really superior to any of the players picked in the 7th round of the weakass 2012 draft, but no biggie either way.

If nothing else, it may change the way that we do UDFAs in the future. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.Parker wrote:After further review I see he was in fact available in the draft. I guess I forgot how many of those 6X POT good ceiling guys were still left at the end.
