Vladislav Kartayev is back on IR after an incident with Steven Stamkos. Stamkos will sit out the next four games for injuring Kartayev until almost February.

The Kings put together another impressive effort and gather the skills competition point to beat Detroit and Columbus on back-to-back nights. da Hawks, down both Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook, still get it done at home against the Flames. The Coyotes look like they're getting on a roll, while the Avalanche play defense for a night and stifle the Wild.
