Two-game suspension for Charlie Coyle for taking Slava Voynov out until mid-February.

Hell of a fun night in EHEC tonight. Plenty of late game heroics, some AHL games, and a World Juniors game for the ages. The Flyers roar back to tie the game late with the Rangers, picking up a 6-on-5 goal with just 1:13 left, but the Broadway bunch find a way to prevail in the shootout. In Nashville, the Jackets and Predators back a back and forth tilt, culminating in Brian Boyle's 15th of the year with just 32 seconds and Joonas Donskoi's game winner with 13 seconds left in overtime. A thriller in LA comes down to the wire with Antoine Vermette's OT game winner. Marian Hossa's overtime game winner propels the Hawks to a couple of points as the Bruins' struggles continue. The Habs score just enough early in the game to hold off the Stars. The Coyotes and Sharks are the only teams to put together dominating performances on the night.

In the World Juniors, created player Ivo Korinek is a national hero for Slovakia, shutting out the Swedes just long enough for Gabriel Belohlavy's game winner on the powerplay in the second overtime period. The Canadians take care of business, as they always do in EHM.

EHM must have broken itself trying to figure out what happened in that Sweden game. 57 save shutout?? What the hell? Poor Slovak defenceman played 56 minutes with a +2 T-G and got no credit.

I also wonder if the Jackets GM was actually serious with his comments regarding Joooooooooooooonas or if they were intended to light a fire under his ass cause it seems like Adam has a serious man crush on the rascal.

... oh yeah, beat Minnesota 5-1. Nice. Even better, Erik Cole scored, and all it took was the two best players on the team to pass it to him first. Vasilevski picked up his tenth shutout of the season on the farm, that's ridiculous.

3-1 game, I outshot him and he had 2 more PPs. Wouldn't call that domination!

You're right. But Ilya Bryzgalov told me to write that.
