Buffalo struggles to finish off Toronto, but ultimately earns the second point via skills competition. New Jersey's slump may be coming to an end as they post a five spot against the Caps. As expected Carolina collects two points burning another required game for Justin Peters.

Justin Pogge and the Penguins extend the Panthers' late season misery. Ottawa nearly escapes the nagging media monkey only to be foiled by Kyle Chipchura late in the 3rd with a pulled goalie.

Jack Campbell disappoints again with Winnipeg blowing an opportunity to match Florida in the points column. Nashville stuns Phoenix tightening their grip on the eighth seed. The Oil could be a team to watch in 2013-14.

Thanks New Jersey for beating WSH, its just too bad those Panthers couldn't come through.

Even though OTT is winless in their last 10, I expected to lose this one. In all of my test sims we got clobbered. Price actually came out to play tonight, which is nice to see. The other big guns were quiet, and for some reason Kyle Chipchura was on the ice in the final minute and change, and ends up scoring the tieing goal. I guess the coach must have seen something in him that game. Danny Boyle has a goal and the shootout winner.

Kinda odd that I was 8-2 in my last 10, win again, and am now 7-2-1 in my last 10, and PIT is still 8-1-1 the bastards.

Here's some great scheduling - In the remaining twelve games the Penguins have left, they get to play the Islanders TWICE, the Flyers THREE times, the Rangers TWICE, the Leafs, Bruins, Capitals, Bolts, and Panthers with 7 of 12 at home and not a single back-to-back left. Talk about a fucking cake walk to end the year.

PIT remaining opponents in 12/13 = .476 win pct
MTL remaining opponents in 12/13 = .529 win pct

PIT vs remaining opponents thus far = 22-4-1
MTL vs remaining opponents thus far = 24-14-1

Good luck Brad.

Yeah, no shit hey, I get 7 of 11 at home, but with two road back-to-back's. Ridiculous. I gotta hope for some upsets I suppose. Maybe the Florida team's can come up with a win and since you beat me a few weeks back Pat I think you need to take out the Pens in 1 of those 2 games and the Isles need to win 1 of 3.

Just means we'll have to head into Pittsburgh to hoist our Eastern Conference title. Not a big deal. We defeated them once already on the road this year and we are the 2nd best road team in the league.
