An interesting final night in EHEC includes a couple of critical injuries as we finish the regular season. The Florida Panthers' playoff chances took a big hit as Michael Frolik will miss the next month thanks to an incident with Ryan Whitney, who is suspended for two games. Lauri Korpikoski will miss a month thanks third-time offender Pavel Kubina, who will sit out the next four games for his transgression. Martin Hanzal will miss the first two games of the 13-14 season for taking out Ryan Parent for a month.

The Calgary Flames are the top seed in the Western Conference and will host the Anaheim Ducks in round one. Congrats to both Julien and Joe on their accomplishments. The Phoenix Coyotes are the Pacific Division champions and they'll host the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Chicago Blackhawks host the Detroit Red Wings in an Original Six battle in round one. The San Jose Sharks will host the Los Angeles Kings in a great 4 v. 5 series.

The Pittsburgh Penguins failed to get to 120 points, but they will host the Florida Panthers, who will try to avenge the loss of their best player. The Montreal Canadiens host the Boston Bruins in another Original Six battle. The Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets will meet in one of the most interesting first round series. The Carolina Hurricanes will host the New Jersey Devils in the first round.

The Toronto Maple Leafs hold the best chance at the first pick as they own the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Dallas Stars. The New York Rangers improve their draft position with a loss to the Flyers and the Wild's win over the Jackets. The Avalanche win in overtime to cost themselves a spot in the draft order.

Thank you to everybody who participated in EHEC this season. Good luck to the playoff teams.

I'll be posting the AHL playoff seeding shortly.

Fucking chokers. Especially Backstrom, he's got a lot to prove in the playoffs if he wants an offer before July 1st.

Thanks for a great season, Adam.

I'm very proud of my team. Specially winning 9 of the last 10 games to reach the top of the Western Conference.
Top seed feels very good.

Let's see what this team has for me now that the games are that much more important.

Good luck everybody.

Glad to see that my AHL team is also doing fine. That's a great offense down in Abbotsford with a 300+ goals scored season.

This whole organization looks like it's heading in the right direction.

Well, yes but....I also own Minny's top pick.

Korpikoski gets taken out for a month but still manages to score the game-winner. That figures, the guy has done nothing but figure out ways to continue producing despite getting less quality icetime. The team won't be the same without him.

Nice to finally have a title in the World's Toughest Division. If we survive the first round of the playoffs, I'm sure Dan will get his shot at revenge.
