Re: September 10, 2013
An interesting night in EHEC, as the Coyotes/Canucks shot total is not a typo. The Coyotes allow one lone shot in the third period to the Canucks, while Marcus Hogberg allows just three first-period goals, despite facing 52 shots over the final two periods. Zack Stortini's preseason is over following an illegal hit on Boyd Gordon. A game-generated six-game ban will take care of that, while Gordon will miss the first couple of weeks of the regular season. Calgary uses most of their regular lineup to put a beating on Anaheim, the Kings' regulars blast the Sharks, and Colorado gets a late game winner from Brandon Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Impressive showing by Hoggy. 82 saves in a regulation game. Too bad the rest of the team didn't show up, though they were a bunch of low end rookies going against a team sprinkled with a couple of vets.
Chis Brown got beat up....that must have been a switch.

Not for the EHEC version; all he's done for me is lose fights.VancouverCanucksGM wrote:Chis Brown got beat up....that must have been a switch.
Good shutout for Bryzgalol. He sure earned it.

It always amazes me every year how many people seem to entirely miss the point of the preseason.

For some of us, it's the only time we can string together some wins.
