Ben Wright had his EHM-generated suspension extended from three games to four games as a result of an incident with Scott Hartnell.

Plenty of fun in Nashville with 11 goals scored, an extra attacker goal, and an overtime game winner from Sebastien Wannstrom. The Jets try their best to blow a 4-0 lead but manage to hang on with a 4-3 triumph. Parker and Dan are happier with their teams tonight than they have been lately as the Coyotes get back on track against the Isles and the Sharks stop Minnesota's impressive 10-game run. The Jackets get a late tally from Phillip Danault to steal two points on Broadway. Brandon Morrow goes pointless in place of Nick Bjugstad as the Flyers leap frog the Devils and Habs in their pursuit of the #8 seed in the East. I don't want to jinx anything, but Mike Walters has his best shot at a playoff team this season as the Leafs keep pace with Tampa Bay in the Atlantic Division. Tampa won in dramatic fashion in a shootout after blowing a lead late in the third. The Hurricanes put together their second straight dominating effort and wash out the Flames by a 3-1 count. Boston picks up an impressive road victory to remain atop the Atlantic Division.

I've actually been pretty happy with the team's performance in the last three weeks; we haven't lost a game in regulation in the last nine (two OT losses) and six of those games were on the road.

Namestnikov scores his first NHL goal, woo hoo. Nice to see Shaw continuing his strong start, and Kaberle is really giving a boost to the bottom-six scoring. Ryan Stone has scored as many goals as Jordan Staal this year, in half the ice time. Good special teams performance, too. What was with all the hooking penalties though?

Welp, the win is nice but a 4-game suspension isn't good, especially considering the upcoming home and home series with Buffalo.

5-1, that's like, a slam dunk home run, innit?

Mad props to Blaine Byron on his first NHL point. Not bad for a sixth round pick last June. And Keith Ballard with the goalscoring, that's something. Just a solid defensive effort all around, next!

Also everyone time I see Tobias Tornkvist on the scoresheet I think Tobias Fünke.

I hate when EHM does that. No powerplays? Really?

Better get used to it... The Burminator is a perennial favorite to lead the league in pre-emptive penalties. ;)

I wouldn't mind so much if he contributed offensively.

How can EHM ignore the fact that there are like 10+ guys in my lineup with 80+ SH, yet only manage 14 shots on goal?
Do I need to start considering using the gun here?

They shoot early, not often.

Sorry, most recent game I remember was the Colorado collapse.

No worries, it's not your job to keep track of every team's trending. That loss did suck but we did get one point out of it, and we actually got outshot too, which is rare even in a road game.
