Suspensions to Sneep, Borer, and Palmieri of two games each for injuring Salmivirta, Junttila, and Sutherby.

The playoff picture is set, although it still needs to be set properly in EHM. One of Pat or I will take care of that as well as the AHL playoffs over the next day or so.

Here are your matchups beginning on Wednesday (real-life NHL seeding schedule will be followed except for random back-to-backs)

East:

1M PIT v 8WC CBJ
1A MTL v 7WC CAR
2A TB v 3A BOS
2M WSH v 3M NJ

West:

1P SJ v 8WC ANA
1C WPG v 7WC LA
2P PHX v 3P CGY
2C STL v 3C CHI

That's funny, the goalie I received for Luongo and the traded away, ended up beating him on the last day. Odd.

Just missed out on having the best SH%, had to hope for something this season :)

Wow Carolina got a raw deal there. I'm not too happy facing them in the first round thats for sure.

Wait a minute, Chicago makes the playoffs at 82 points and Edmonton misses with 89? Unreal.

It's entirely possible you could extend that to 25?

Philly does us a huge favor by knocking off the Hurricanes and we beat the Bruins, to not have to face Montreal in the 1st round which is good, the prize, we get to face Washington, not an easy matchup at all but I am going to be able to have time to fix my lineup after a month or so of not being able to.

Nice way to end the season, with the best past ten games record......9-1-0 not too bad........but lets see what the playoffs bring to the table. Chicago looks like it could be an easy series but...EHM is a very nasty little bitch. Nice that we have the home ice advantage, cause we are going to need it.

Good luck Chicago.

lol at STL - CHI and PHX - CGY. That's 8 vs 9 and 2 vs 3. Thanks, Bettman.

I also have to thank the stars... Stars for saving that first seed for me and shutting out Phoenix to boot. That sure is something. Bring on the Heater in the playoffs, I'm ready.

Well, I never knowingly lost the game because of the (better) draft pick overall, that's just not my style. I was trying to play the best hockey till' the bitter end. But congrats, anyway ;)
