TB 2014 Draft Review

D Ryan Collins (USHL) 91st overall
Best case: 2nd pairing / Worst case: AHL
Good hands and vision. Average hockey IQ, but can play physical.


C Reid Gardiner (WHL) 92nd overall
Top six winger / AHL
Will have to transition to the wing. His shot could earn him regular shifts.


D Nick Wolff (USHL) 113th overall
3rd Pairing / AHL
If he can learn the game and work on fundamentals hecould be a physical force.


LW Michael Bunting (OHL) 116th overall
3rd Liner / AHL
Few strengths or weaknesses; however, his overall game makuseful.


D Andreas Englund (SWE) 118th overall
2nd Pairing / AHL
Little offensive upside. Sound defensive game and can play physical.


D Connor Carrick (USHL) – 128th overall
2nd Pairing / AHL
Long shot. Good offensive skills and high hockey IQ.


C Francis Perron (QMJHL) 144th overall
3rd Line C / AHL
Long shot. Great hands, but no finishing ability.


C Artur Boltanov (RUS) – 128th overall
Top six winger / AHL
Long Shot. Great offensive game is coupled with amazing shooting.


LW Alex Gillies (BCHL) – 178th overall
4th Liner / AHL
Long Shot. Good shooting ability and plays a two-way game.

C Shane Gersich (NCAA) – 208th overall
Top six winger / AHL
Long shot. Great shooting and good defensive skills.
