I had a chat with another GM, and I want to make sure I got it correctly.
The minimum salary is 600K. So the players we see at like 400K, they will all be adjusted when season starts, is that it?
And for the AHL cap, the same thing applies, those we see at 400K won't actually count for that amount, correct?

The rulebook only says that players with salaries below 400k (not many left these days) count as 400k. This offseason the minimum salary for free agency was changed to 600k, and for a while the minimum ELC for a draftee has been 600k.
There is no rule anywhere that says that salaries above 400k but below 600k count as 600k.

Minimum for new salaries is now 600K. But we will not be raising lower salaries to that number. Just like we've gotten rid of TO and PO for new contracts, but are still honoring existing options.
