No surprises tonight (yet again) though Belarus does give Sweden a little bit of a scare early on. Timonen also opens the Finland-Germany game with 2 goals in the first 38 seconds of the game. Kudos, sir.

A strong, yet unsurprising start for Finland. Good to see, good to see. The real Olympics are definitely providing a little more entertainment, love seeing the somewhat equal playing field. The scare Switzerland gave to Canada is awesome, in my opinion... I'm Canadian, want Canada to win and all, but I do love seeing the competition becoming more intense and equal.

I've been watching the real Olympics. Something's strangely compelling even about the repetitive sports like downhill & speed skating, even when it's virtually impossible to tell the difference between two runs besides that one was 2/10 of a second faster.

I expected a bit more from Germany here, but team checking line wingers pulls through.

Sorry guys, the Olympic break has coincided with a promotion at work. The new position carries a lot more responsibility and I just haven't had much energy after work lately. Once I get my feet under me here I'll be a lot more active again.
