The Lightning grab two points in Motown in the second of back-to-back games. Carter snipes twice, including the GWG. Bub's blueshirts get trounced by the ghost of Mike Cleary; Rangers get outshot 36-15 in their own building. Da Hawks' roll over the Sharks as Jani Hakanpaa scores his first of the season. Matt Killian notches an assist to widen his rookie scoring race lead. The Ducks make the best of life without Zets as they cruise to a 3-1 win over the Nucks.

Seeing as it took around 25 test sims before I got a single win, I am not surprised. Nor is EHM surprising.

Yaroslav Alshevsky knocked out for 3 weeks by Mike Komisarek. Suspension time.

Chicago needs a promotion as a result of the injury.

Washington with another fast-sign is over the contract limit again. You could release Kubalik (the fast-sign) and add David Kampf as their 3rd underager. You could also move Brett Pesce to their farm team since he's a 1994 birth year that they have signed.

In addition to Exelby (Dallas posted to promote him but maybe he didn't do it in GMO?), Nashville has Rocco Grimaldi in the AHL even though he's on his second contract at $1,925,000/year.
