Well, we enter the final month of the regular season with another exciting night in EHEC. My Jackets rip 46 shots without Rick Nash and it still takes a skills competition to come away with two points. Former Jacket RJ Umberger gets a pair, and former Red Wing Jiri Hudler gets the shootout winner. In other action, the Islanders surprise the Flyers, the Caps and Thrash decide to play 20 minutes of a 60 minute game, Cory Schneider chokes late for the Luongo-less Canucks and the Sabres get an absolute must-win two points over the Maple Leafs.

Oh man, Connolly coming through in the clutch. Same goes for Roenick too actually; everytime I bring him from a break he lends a hand in getting the job done. Him and Preissing are hands down the best free agents signing I've made this season.

Too bad Ottawa won also, as I need a little help getting into the playoffs, but there's still a game in hand. Hopefully we can use it wisely.
