1. Now that April's ending, what's the best thing that happened to you this past month?
A couple days ago I sat at a muffler repair shop in the inner city for 3 hours waiting to have my muffler looked at for the 2nd time this month (I was introduced to the guy who runs the shop through a direct connection, hence why I went to this particular one). Earlier in the month, the connection between the catalytic converter and the resonator pipe had sheared off from corrosion. Instead of replacing the entire exhaust system, he welded it together saving me hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. Flash forward to a couple days ago, I take it in again and he shows me a corroded hole in the top of the resonator about a foot away from the weld job and said he'd cut that entire part off and put a new one on. He comes in to tell me its done, and as I'm reaching for my wallet he says "Keys are in the car. You owe me a 12-pack.. see ya later." The guy saved me well over $1,000, and my car from a Thelma & Louise ending.

2. If you had to write a 20-page paper on the topic of your choice, what would you write about?
Why most college papers are pointless, and how many probably aren't even read before they're graded.

3. If you plan on having kids of your own (or already have), what is (was) the one thing you vow(ed) to do better than your parents/guardians did?
Not that I plan on living separate from the mother and children, but god forbid it came to that, not telling my kids that I'd be there in a couple hours to pick them up for the weekend, then never show.

4. If you could live in any currently-running TV show, what would it be and why?
It was technically cancelled within the last year and its animated (I'm counting it anyway), but King of the Hill. The rednecks and country music down there would drive me nuts, but everything seems to be a little slower-paced and more peaceful. Plus the far lower crime and murder rate than here!

5. What was your favorite field trip in school?
I'll have to go with our senior trip to Cedar Point. We were only at the park for one day and spent the night before heading out in the morning, but I had a blast.

I had good parents, problem is they didn't do anything with their own lives besides that.

4. If you could live in any currently-running TV show, what would it be and why?
Survivor, but I would play any of those stupid games I would run off and just survive on my own, maybe hunt some of the gamers' and crew for food.

1. Now that April's ending, what's the best thing that happened to you this past month?

School's done until September...I've been taking classes for the last 20 months straight.

2. If you had to write a 20-page paper on the topic of your choice, what would you write about?

I actually have to write a massive year-long thesis next year, so I'm already trying to brainstorm this. I'm thinking of combining game theory and econometrics somehow.

3. If you plan on having kids of your own (or already have), what is (was) the one thing you vow(ed) to do better than your parents/guardians did?

Pay more attention to my children's interests. For the longest time, my dad thought I played ice hockey.

4. If you could live in any currently-running TV show, what would it be and why?

The Simpsons, since I'd stay the same age/look the same for at least 20 years.

5. What was your favorite field trip in school?

Going to Science World back in the day.

Laser Quest! Best experiences as a kid. Tied with water slides in High School, but I was fat so it wasn't that great.
