I needed to add a top-six centremen on the second-line who can win important face-offs, score important goals and make important plays. He should really help Burakowsky to score more goals and then he should thrive as a natural sniper that he is and should also help to provide better offensive help for Scherbak or Saad.

I believe the price is right in here as I believe Cogliano's presence can be a difference maker in many games.

Wasn't planning this but Dallas somehow showed up with my kind of offer. Two 1st round picks in future drafts and a significant cap relief while also putting an end to the debate to whether or not bring Joe Basaraba back next year. Cogliano meets all requirements for top 6 duties and no doubt he's going to help Dallas but I wasn't going to pass on this.
