This is an immediate infusion of the grit to a team that lacked it so much. Not only gritty, but talented forwards Bjugstad and Sharov will be very useful in the top six, top-9 nine role for the Capitals. They are both still pretty young. Gusev knew how to score but there are also other simillar players already on the roster that can take on his role. Filippi was an okay, depth, all-around forward but Bjugstad and Sharov are both better than him. McCarron is a bit of project. For now, he will be playing 4C and will definitely break some jaws sooner than later. Getting as many picks as possible is a must for the retooling team.
