What is discord?

Its an instant messenger; like Skype, MSN Messenger, or AOL Live if I need to go to such a dated reference. Its main appeal originally was that it was designed to be used while gaming for team chats. At this point though its a pretty common general instant messenger.

Login to discord either through the browser, the discord program, or other intermediate programs (for example Franz). At that point it works similar to slack with several main chat threads, and the ability to message people privately

I tried that one and had the same issue. Can you make a permanent invite link?

I imagine not many people are using it but all the cool kids seem to be on Discord these days and perhaps more importantly most of the EHM leagues are there too (most NHL:EHM 2005 as far as I can tell).

Mostly the new game that came out in 2016 now. I run a league there.

No, I didn't get around to it. I was going to look into which server to use and stopped there.

Yes, there's about a dozen of us on there now. It should come in handy for the start of the draft where it gets awkward trying to juggle multiple live trade negotiations through PM.
