The commissioner steps onto the podium and up to the microphone to welcome you to the 2019 EHEC Entry Draft in Vancouver, BC. He delivers a raw and emotional speech on the state of the league and its fine general managers. You find by turns laughing, crying and nodding safely in agreement at his wisdom. As the speech comes to a close, you are surprised to feel tears streaming down your cheeks. As your heart swells within your chest, you feel inspired and motivated to work hard to improve your team's fortunes in the upcoming season(s). The team's loyal fans deserve it, after all.

[Calgary GM approaches the stage, dodging garbage and water bottles. A chorus of boos erupts as he approaches the microphone.]

Marco - The Calgary Flames would like to congratulate the Edmonton Oilers on their Championship.

[BOOOOOOO]

Marco - And I would like to take this opportunity to say that the past indiscretions of the previous regime are just that...in the past. The Calgary Flames have paid their punishment due and look forward to the future with a fresh start.

[BOOOOOOO]

Marco - And a special shoutout to our Draft watching party at The Ship & Anchor.

[TELL US YOUR F*CKING DRAFT CHOICE!]

Marco - And with the 24th pick in the 2019 EHEC Draft, the Calgary Flames are proud to select from the Barrie Colts...RYAN SUZUKI.

OOC - "Welcome to the Red" doesn't exactly translate in Russian, so according to Google that actually says "Welcome to Fire." Close enough.
