To Los Angeles Kings:
C Martin Necas (67)
D Ethan Bear (57)
To Montreal Canadiens:
L Matthew Boldy (75)
2020 NSH 1st
Call this a preemptive strike against next season's cap issues. Leaves me a little thin down the middle and losing Bear could be a bigger inconvenience than it ought to be - his low salary was probably going to come in handy this season - but I'll make do.
Thanks, Hugo.

Necas offensive skills set was the kind of player I was targeting this off-season. Bear give me low-cost depth on defense. I have a lot of players like Boldy. 1st NSH was acquired in a salary dump, so i’m find with this trade.

Martin Necas was interviewed in today's paper about the recent trade that sent him from Montreal Canadiens to Los Angeles Kings. This is a great hockey town, and I'm gonna' miss it here. In some ways this will always feel like a home to me, he choked before breaking down and being helped out.
