Tieksola and Green are okay prospects but I don't see them cracking NJ's lineup. Johns immediately becomes the Devils' best defensive D; their new GM (
) can decide whether to keep him or trade him at the deadline for what should be a decent return. Martindale may or may not pan out but won't put much of a dent into NJ's still ample cap space.
