Well, that didn't last long. Saw a chance to get some real breathing room under the cap and promote one of the many young'uns who need NHL development. Going to give Marchenko a shot on the second line. Solid draft pick capital that can be used to upgrade the offence later in the season if necessary.

As much as I wanted to keep Lucas Raymond with the big club, it just didn't make sense. So with the open roster spot and additional cap space, I thought it was best to add another body for the bottom 6. Aapeli brings a nice two way game and excellent faceoff skills. Should fit in nicely.
