Ahhhhh sweet sweet cap relief. This deal on my end is all about getting around 1 million in relief that my team appreciates. Enough of the 50K here and 100K there. Ryan Murphy is actually a very serviceable defenseman, who would absolutely be on my main club where he was last year and on the PP if I didn't cap-out when I traded as much as I did. I believe anyone with the room can make use of that, esp. as he only has 1 year left on the contract anyway. Kuznetsov is a 3rd Rounder from 2016 who just never fit here, but could result in something serviceable in the AHL squad. The 5th is just a very small pickup for me to have some value, but as I said the cap relief is the main part for me.
