So the cap space - cleared for Dion

Love what Seimens does but again - big payday going up next summer whereas Dion's salary - while going up - is marginal to what either Duncan or Dustin will get.

Foote doesn't quite fit the plans in the future with some other young hitters in the pipe.


I've looked at my contracts for next year - with regard to who I want to keep/move on from and Dion will play a part of this team for the foreseeable future.

Both picks are this year.

Avs accept. Siemens is a great top 4 shutdown guy for my blueline, well south of 30 and will re-sign for a lot less than Dion. The 1st is more like a high 2nd but should be able to get a core player. Foote has some upside as a two-way checker, better and younger than Grundstrom.
