to Colorado Avalanche:
Brent Seabrook [84]
Alex Nedeljkovic [86]
Daniil Misyul [73]
Taylor Raddysh [71]
Matt Tompkins [74]
4th round pick 2022
to Dallas Stars:
Zack Kassian [67]
Jack Roslovic [59]
Thatcher Demko [80]
Colten Ellis [90]
Big deal, yes. But to make a long story short.
We are basically swapping two goalies for two goalies.
Seabrook and prospects like Misyul and Raddysh for Kassian and Roslovic, who is a young player too.
I loved Seabrook during his time here in Dallas and he was a big part of winning the cup last year, but I want to pass the torch to younger defensemen in the system from now on so this deal make sense for the Dallas Stars going forward and Kassian will be a interesting addition too and I believe he will turn it around here in Dallas, TX.
Thank you and good luck Avs.

Re: COL / DAL
Colorado accepts. This might be my biggest trade ever. Seabrook is still a beast, cheaper than Kassian, who'll either anchor my top pairing or get dealt for a big return.
Getting Nedeljkovic for Demko is an upgrade at a cheaper rate than Demko will get next year.
Raddysh is a huge part of the deal for me. Elite forward prospect, which is something I have very little of in my system. Misyul is a nice prospect, yet another promising defenceman. Tompkins is AHL bound.
It was Kassian's time to go. He's got seven points in 51 games this year. His contract is massive. Elite defensive forward though. Demko is slightly above average for a backup. Roslovic has struggled in the bottom six all year and isn't developing much at all. Sucks to give up Ellis, though he's backup material.
Thanks for the big deal Dallas, good luck in playoffs.
