The Stars finally solve the mystery of Leland Irving, score the opening goal on the second shift of the game (what's new), retaking the lead on Dergachyov's first midway through the first and just minutes after Frolik tied the game, and ending with an emphatic three-goal outburst in the first 5 minutes and change of the third period. Mikhail Grigorenko leads the way for the Stars with 2G+1A, while Frolik scored two of the Hawks' three goals.
