Hey everyone - EDIT YOUR LINES INCLUDING AHL. Seriously. Lots of games and still WAY too early in the season to make sense of anything yet.

Re: October 16, 2021
Seems a bit early in the season for EHM to be generating nonsense like:
58:31 4-3 MIN Alex Turcotte [1] (Alexis Lafrenière, Ivan Provorov)PP
58:55 4-4 MIN Alexis Lafrenière [1] (Ryan Whitney, Mitchell Mattson) WG
------------------------------------------------------------
60:54 4-5 MIN Ryan Whitney [1] (Nils Hoglander, Dillon Dubé)PP
... but hey, here we are.

Re: October 16, 2021
There's something strange going on with my roster. I scratched Namestnikov for the first two games but it donesn't seem like he was scratched somehow. He's still slumping because of that. Also, I have no stats for my AHL players with the exception of three players.

I don't think your team had any errors but honestly I can't remember exactly because there were A LOT of minor lines that needed work.Dallas Stars GM wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 9:07 am There's something strange going on with my roster. Then again the NHL lines were mostly ok, so not sure about Namestnikov

Now that is odd; that is how it shows up in game too, so it's not a website bug. I'll have to investigate.Dallas Stars GM wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 9:07 amAlso, I have no stats for my AHL players with the exception of three players.

But he wasn't scratched, therefore it didn't help his morale. Because scratched player can get out of slumping pretty quickly, pretty sure you know that too. It's not the end of the world or anything, just pointing that out. No worries. Thanks for all you do.But he didn't play any games...

Re: October 16, 2021
Huh... something weird happened with your lines then. If you load up the save from the 15th (after your first game), you'll see Kadri, Armia and Grigorenko (plus some D) with asterisks next to their name in your roster - this indicates they were scratched in the last set of confirmed lines. Since we switched to updating teams.ehm directly to enter lines, we don't manually click confirm lines unless the game nags us to.
It appears that the game used your lines correctly, but ended up marking all the guys who were asterisked as scratched (even if they actually played). So Kadri's performance line after game one reads: su (scratched + 7 rating). Meanwhile, Namestnikov didn't play (and therefore got no stats), but also wasn't marked as scratched, so his performance line is just blank.
This isn't unique to your team - I had the same thing with Carter Hart, who appeared as scratched for my first game, then was marked as scratched again plus a 4 rating (lol) in game 2, so now his performance line reads 'ssr'.
I think your farm team got hit with the same thing particularly hard because nobody has hit confirm lines there since last season and I guess the game thought nearly everyone was scratched except for those three players who must have been in the lineup the last time someone confirmed it.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way to fix these issues for the games that were already played without re-simulating all of them, which I'd rather not do. Going forward, I think it means we have to re-confirm lines any time there's a change in the list of dressed players, which is going to be annoying and error-prone. Sigh.

Does it take that much longer to enter the lines in-game?

we just auto lines if we really need to but we try to fix if we can.
that said Rossi played on the farm but the stats don't show that he played... weird.

I'm not sure that I follow the question. Yes, it takes longer to enter lines manually than not.AvalancheGM wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 5:39 pm Does it take that much longer to enter the lines in-game?

Re: October 16, 2021
It takes much longer as it takes 1 second to sim a game without line issues. It can take 5-10 mins to sim a game with line issues, depending. My sim last night had 12 games - so having around 5 games that had teams with line issues is a big difference.AvalancheGM wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 5:39 pm Does it take that much longer to enter the lines in-game?
