To Wpg:
Jack Campbell (87)
--> Detroit retains 50% of Campbell's salary
To Det:
Matt Mahalak (54)
2nd TB 2022
2nd Wpg 2023
Confirmed. I hadn't planned on trading Campbell, but obviously this season is not off to a great start (I wasn't expecting a cup run, but I admit I hoped to compete for a playoff spot. Oh well, not complaining) and I'm not sure his re-signing salary is worth it.

Accepted.
It's likely an over-payment given how abundant the 78+ CON/OA goalies are, but Campbell has history with the Jets winning a Cup in 2016. Given that I am in a Win Now mode, two (hopefully) late 2nds is a fine price given DET is retaining salary to make the financials worth.
While quality goaltending is abundant, I slacked during UFA season thinking I'd find a decent 600k starter. While Leland Irving has been a great addition, the West is so competitive; I'd hoped Mahalak with his height and OA could work, but he is just not a NHL goalie in my view.
