Visitors have a tough evening in EHEC thanks to quality D & G - that's three shutouts on the night, each with 24-30 saves (so not just 5 shots/period gimmes). The best (and arguably most surprising results... no offense to anyone involved) for the roadies are a 3-3 Boston-Ottawa tie, and a narrow 2-1 loss for the Rangers in Toronto, both partly thanks to low-challenge specials. The Blue Jackets also made a spirited attempt at a third period comeback but couldn't overcome their lack of discipline, as the Blues held on to win mostly because of their 3/9 PP (with 20 shots!
