The Canes' resurgence continues with a 6-2 blowout of the slightly slumping Stars, while the Rangers also dump 6 on the Penguins' hapless Robin Lehner (save some goals for the rest of the week). The Sens victimize the Oilers' Ondrej Pavelec for 5 goals on just 22 shots, making full use of home ice advantage (scribbles notes furiously)

Meanwhile, on the road (well, barely, but you know LA traffic*), the Kings edge out the Ducks in an OT thriller, while the Jets win the goaltending battle in Cow Town by the same margin, just in regulation.
