Excitement clearly at a fever pitch in Nashville as they lose in front of 406 very eager Preds fans. Joe Colborne continues his strong preseason for the Thrashers as they realize that the trick to beating Jacob Markstrom is to not take 61 shots on goal. My Jackets are driven by two shorties and a strong game from David Backes to beat the 'Canes in a shootout. Brian Boyle pots a pair for the victorious Capitals while the Blackhawks roll the young Lightning.

Ryan's got the reins for tomorrow. Enjoy your weekend everybody!

I gotta be honest. I like the enthusiasm, but I could really do without Rick Nash getting his ass kicked by Scott Walker in the preseason.

Looks like Plekhanov really wants to make the team. Too bad there's no room for him right now.

Caputi makes his Lightning debut count, 4 takeaways, 2 hits and a 1st round KO over Colin Fraser.
Most recent file here.

It's true, he won't be expecting that.

I believe the game was played in Nashville. Therefore, I'm blaming the Predators' marketing brass.

Ah yes. Appears it was. The Sommet Center was booming.
