Homepage, Schedule & Results, League Save File

Happy MLK Day.

Highlights include hat tricks from Lawson Crouse (OTT, vs TB) and William Eklund (DET, @VAN, and natural to boot, possibly answering remaining questions on how his development is going). MTL's reinforcements Dellandrea and Amirov score, but it's not enough to complete the 3-goal comeback against the Bruins. In other home team shitting the bed news, the Sharks did vs the Preds, but conveniently, so did the Canucks and Blues.

There are still only 5 teams with a positive goal differential in the East (8 in the West).

Fascinating. I feel like my record this season (minus the first 10 games) is dependent on an individual who I would not expect to be making the difference… I’ll have to dig into the numbers, but I think we’re 3-0-1 since Ty Smith returned from injury and that we were doing fairly well when he was first injured 🤷‍♂️

This is crazy. Though also continues to confirm that the West playoff battles are going to be epic

In other news, Rask didn't blow it. Grats lil' buddy.

Follow-up. Putting aside my first 8 games, because of reasons, we're 15-16-3 (.485 winning percentage). In games that Ty Smith has played, we're 12-8-3 (.587) and in games he's missed through injury we're 3-8-0 (.273) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow. I might have to rethink my stance on one-dimensional Ds...

It's a little baffling though, because when Smith got injured I just put McKeown in, who is objectively better?
