1. Who's your favorite NFL team? Predict their record this season.

Cleveland Browns! 5-11. Their schedule is impossibly hard, they simply don't have enough talent on either side of the ball.

2. What weekly TV show's return are you most looking forward to this season?

Probably Bones. Then Big Bang Theory. Then Dexter.

3. If it's too touchy, no need to respond, but what are your memories of 9/11/01?

I was a freshman in high school and had gym class during my first period. We were outside on the football practice field playing softball. I remember noticing an airplane flying over the high school. Normally you just ignore things like that, but for some reason, I didn't. It just so happened that for second period, I had a computer class. Someone came in from the hallway and told us to turn the TV on. I can honestly say that I don't remember much of the TV coverage until after I came home because all the schools let out early. At lunch, I was talking with my friends about how I thought it was the Iraqis. My childhood best friend was making jokes about how it was people from a wealthy small suburb nearby. It was the beginning of the end of our friendship because I was furious at him for not understanding the seriousness of the situation.

Watching the news cycle the same clips of people running covered in ash and smoke and soot was just unbearable. A horrible, horrible day.

4. What place on Earth have you been to that you absolutely never want to go back to again?

I just realized that the wording of this question is stupid because I don't any of us have left Earth. But anyway, I'd have to say the hotel room we stayed in on our vacation to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. My father's a penny-pincher when it comes to vacations and this was the most egregious evidence of it.

1. I know nothing about football and don't really enjoy watching it that much, but I watched that ESPN film on the Raiders/Al Davis and the history of the Raiders uniform and thought it was pretty sick so I'll say them. 6-10?????

2. Not into anything on TV really, except for Jersey Shore....

3. Being Canadian, obv it was a little different. I don't remember anything really significant on the day, but watching the buildings fall made me really sad. Imagining have a family/friend working in that building, not knowing whether they made it out and seeing something as surreal as the Twin Towers collapse....I doubt you could put into words what that would feel like.

4. Never been somewhere that I disliked so much to not go back.....(edit: location wise)

1. Green Bay Packers, 10-6. But I'll take the Vikes going 0-16.

2. Don't watch much weekly tv anymore, and most of what we get comes on Netflix. So...Burn Notice, The Closer, Damages, Leverage, a bunch of British mysteries.

3. I had just moved to Raleigh, NC, a few weeks before, and my wife joined me two days before 9/11. I was reading for a class that night, and my mother-in-law called to say the first tower had been hit. We stared at the tv in disbelief for the next few days. The prof didn't cancel class that night, which was good because it felt right to get out and be with other people, but he actually said -- in all seriousness -- "If I had cancelled class then the terrorists would have won."

4. Hopewell, VA, comes close, but it's probably a smelly, damp, and youth-soccer-team-infested hotel just off I-81 outside Martinsburg, VA. We stayed there on our way to Maine and it was a nightmare. I can usually sleep through anything, even hurricanes, but I could hardly sleep that night. Ugh.

1. Cardinals. I think despite the relative weakness of their division, and the good pieces they have in place, they've only got a decent shot at doing anything with Derek Friggin' Anderson as signal caller... not that it would be any different with Leinart. Warner's irreplaceable right now. (8-8?)

2. What weekly TV show's return are you most looking forward to this season?
Mad Men's already on, so... I dunno, Parks and Rec isn't coming back until mid-season.

3. If it's too touchy, no need to respond, but what are your memories of 9/11/01?
When I woke up at 7am (pacific), in that sort of groggy haze I heard the radio claim the most ridiculous thing had happened in New York, I told my mum, and then at school it was all anyone was concerned about - I don't really recall any of the emotional response I had, mostly I remember the spectacle of it being on every channel and everyone who was talking about it had already jumped to conclusions about what had happened and who did it and what would happen and the sort of idle chatter you can expect out of people who are clearly overstimulated and fearful (even in rural BC).

4. What place on Earth have you been to that you absolutely never want to go back to again?
I'd rather not go back to the Calgary Stampede.

1. Who's your favorite NFL team? Predict their record this season.

The Bills (not that I follow football all that much). I'd have to say either 1-15, or an impressive 4-12. Terrible.

2. What weekly TV show's return are you most looking forward to this season?

None, Deadliest Catch is the only show I make a point to watch weekly, and even that is starting to become skewed.

4. What place on Earth have you been to that you absolutely never want to go back to again?

My current job.

I haven't paid attention to football in like five years, but I liked the Philadelphia Eagles. I know McNabb is gone though, so I'll say 7-9, depending on whether Dogkiller returns to his pre-dog killing form.

Or is it...post-dog killing form?

2. What weekly TV show's return are you most looking forward to this season?
24 is done and Futurama is already back, so I'm content.

3. If it's too touchy, no need to respond, but what are your memories of 9/11/01?
It was one of the first days of junior high. so I was overwhelmed by the whole new school thing to really realize the impact of what happened. I just remember that we were watching the news during class.

4. What place on Earth have you been to that you absolutely never want to go back to again?
Probably Bamfield, B.C. since I haven't been many places elsewhere. I think it's only accessible by a crappy gravel road from my hometown of Port Alberni. Pretty much 90 minutes of feeling like you're going to die, mixed with some nausea. Then you get there and there's nothing to do (I sat through many field trips going that way).

Probably not the best commercials I've seen, but hilarious nonetheless.

1. Who's your favorite NFL team? Predict their record this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars. 0-16

2. What weekly TV show's return are you most looking forward to this season?

Occupation Double (french reality show with hot broads). NHL.

3. If it's too touchy, no need to respond, but what are your memories of 9/11/01?

I was in grade 6 in math class when my teacher explained to us what had happened and she made it very emotional. When I saw the towers on the news I got so scared and kept asking my mom if something like this could happen here in Montreal. So, it was a mix of excitement and fear. I was also very curious about how they ended up hijacking the planes and I started to have prejudice over arabs.

4. What place on Earth have you been to that you absolutely never want to go back to again?

The city of Lourdes in France. It's a place where a lot of sick people go to pray for God to fix them. Very sad. I am not a religious person so I couldn't find any sympathy for those people.

1. Who's your favorite NFL team? Predict their record this season.
San Francisco 49ers, always been. We're sweeping the division so that's 6-0 right there. Add wins against, Carolina, Tampa, Kansas City, Oakland and Denver to make it a 11-5 season.

2. What weekly TV show's return are you most looking forward to this season?
I don't really follow TV shows, series or whatever...so NFL games I guess...

3. If it's too touchy, no need to respond, but what are your memories of 9/11/01?
Skipped school and woke up late at my then-girlfriend's place and the whole thing had already taken place. Of course the news being everywhere and people panicking, my mom was pretty sure this was World War III.

4. What place on Earth have you been to that you absolutely never want to go back to again?
Can't remember the city but in was in New Jersey, after Hellfest 2004. Didn't have a hotel room so the search was on. Finally found a place called "Royal Hotel". You got it, nothing royal about this shithole. Graffitis in the bathroom, a fat hooker who kept telling my friend and I that she remembered us, very ghetto neighborhood...Bad times...

1. Who's your favorite NFL team? Predict their record this season. - Cleveland Browns 6-10 they stink, but will win some games because the other team won't show up to play four or five times this year

2. What weekly TV show's return are you most looking forward to this season? - "Svetlana" on HDNET

3. If it's too touchy, no need to respond, but what are your memories of 9/11/01? - my mom was a United flight attendant at the time and supposed to fly out the next day. i was at the office and called home to get her opinion, and my dad told me she flew out a day early to CHI. we didn't know her status until after the South Towel fell, but she immediately said that contrary to reports at the time, two of the planes were United and she also said they killed the crew first. i asked how she knew that and she said no pilot could possibly be coerced into crashing planes. to this day i really don't understand the motivation behind killing the most vulnerable people possible...don't try to explain it, i will never get it

4. What place on Earth have you been to that you absolutely never want to go back to again? - the passenger seat when my friend Brian is in the driver's seat
