Daniel Sprong opens the scoring just 2:43 into the game, but the Ducks tie it up quickly and walk out of the first period with a 3-1 lead. That lead evaporates in the third, and Mason (who picked up an assist) allows the classic goal on the first shot of OT a whopping 11 seconds in. I mean unless Broberg carried the puck straight through the middle and split the Ducks' D, that must have been like Lidstrom on Cloutier.

Anyway, the Ducks have fully blown their home ice advantage and Dallas is up 2-0.
