We have a series, folks! The Stars open it up as usual, with Malkin and McAvoy doing the plussing. But the Ducks strike back with three consecutive goals, including two points from PL Dubois. Fans are on the edges of their seats until the unthinkable happens and waiver fodder Tyson Jost ties it up with three minutes left. The Ducks continue to show resilience, however, as they survive allowing the first shot of overtime to score on the second, courtesy of Hunter Shinkaruk. The Ducks avoid the sweep, leaving the Sharks as the most embarrassing team of the playoffs.
