Homepage, Schedule & Results, League Save File

The Stars run wild, stomping the hapless Habs and running them ragged in a critical game 4, putting Dallas on the brink of a second EHEC Cup victory. The usual suspects of Malkin, Grigorenko and Kaliyev lead the way, with Malkin's 3 points taking him to an (absurd) EHEC-record-as-of-now +27 in the playoffs (though Kostin's +26 in 18GP last year was tops per game). Speaking of Kostin, he and OV will need to start scoring soon, and Weber will need to clean up his -3 rating post-haste if the Habs are to extend this series.

Wish the game had shot positions so we could do some proper analytics lol

Don't add the 2nd cup image to your signature line just yet and you should be ok

Everyone's shots came from outside the net. Your guys' didn't go in. What more do you need to know?

In all seriousness, you can check how many shots you take/allow from D vs forwards. I occasionally counted and felt like my team was allowing more low-percentage point shots than it took, and look where that got me!

That's a good point, to some extent. If a D is taking a shot, you assume it's from the perimeter, and if a forward does, you can assume it's higher percentage. It wouldn't be perfect, but it would likely give some amount of helpful information. Would probably be more useful with a script that pulled from all teams, since as you said, your particular analysis seemed somewhat odd. Then again, if there's some consistency among teams, that would be worthwhile to know too.
