I'd like to say that the Kings played a tough, gritty road game to try to force a deciding game 7 with (ideally) a multi-shot overtime... but no, not really. TB dominated this game start to finish and the lone goal by TayTay early in the 3rd didn't swing the needle.

Congrats to TB's Geoff Smith for his first Cup win in just 3 years, congrats & condolences to Hugo for coming close without Zadina, and better luck next season for the rest of us.

I'd say Gauthier would get top votes if there weren't a winner bias, Kessel otherwise. Gildon with 21 pts in 24 games on D's not bad, albeit with a -1 (funny enough, many of the top OFD had poor +/-).

I think its great. Guy tries his ass off through injuries and Buffalo can't advance. Won't let him get a surgery he wants (i get the CBA) so he forces out and its yet ANOTHER Vegas big shot. The best part is NYR coulda had him but wouldn't part with a guy like Kakko. Good thing the GM of the NYR here in EHEC isn't afraid to pull off a big move for Eichel No cup though...
