Avs accept. It's a big plunge, but a player we should be able to re-sign with the amount of money potentially coming off the books. Stafford bolsters the team down the middle and allows Patrick to centre a HAG 3rd line.
Eriksson Ek has been disappointing. Knies will be a useful NHLer, though not anything particularly special. As to whether it's enough to drag us into the playoffs or incite the people of Denver and their pitchforks...

Confirming - had been hoping for ages to get a 1st for Stafford, but oh well, my 2nd isn't too far off. As Josh says, Knies will be depth, Eriksson Ek is a body.
