- CAR beats CBS, getting Dvorsky and Pastujov their first NHL points.
- FLA scores 4 against MIN but gives up 7 in return, along with most of their playoff hopes.
- MTL puts up 5 @ NYR to make the race for 3rd in the East interesting.
- Lowly BUF doubles up PIT, putting a damper in the Pens' playoff chances.
- DET blanking NAS doesn't impact much, although NAS could drop from 4th in the West.
- COL comes storming back from 3-0 down vs also-lowly CGY to take the lead midway through the third, but ends up blowing it on Nate MacKinnon's 30th.
- LA calmly dispatches the other Alberta team 4-1, keeping their chances of a top 2 finish alive.
- DAL ventilates Cossa in a dominant 5-2 win @ VAN... you know, the low challenge % kind.

This leaves VAN all but eliminated, DAL tied with VAN albeit with two games in hand, while four teams still technically threaten NYI for the 8th spot in the East but all with 4-point gaps.

Oh yeah, DAL & MTL got some players on 1-week injuries and should check their lines.

The only winning team on the list tonight with an adjective, lowly Buffalo pulls it off in the only game of the year we've seriously cared about.
