Game 7 time! Things start early in the first period, as Mika Zibanejad puts the Sharks on the board after 1:21. The first period ends level however, after Antti Saarela scores for Minny.

The second period sees three hooking penalties and a lone goal, as Vladislav Kartayev gives San Jose the lead once more.

Things get a bit hairy in the third. San Jose scores goal 3 in the first minute, and after Roland McKeown throws an elbow add goal 4 on the powerplay.
Nico Hischier gets one back for the Wild not long after, but Minny gives the Sharks 3 powerplays in the last 11 minutes, unfortunately running the clock out on themselves. San Jose takes game seven 4-2 and the series 4-3, as they become the first team to advance to the finals.

As was foretold.
Anyway, a game away from the SCF was definitely not the pre-season projections, so ice cream for everybody, even the Sharks if they don't have other plans (but you'll have to figure out rides.)

Great run Zaq. The West is a torture chamber and you did great. Vast majority of your team is mid to low 20 year olds so you should have a solid group for years to come. No shame in losing to Dan (except all the shame)

GG Zaq. Your Alexes made me sweat profusely even if largely metaphorically.

Coming into the game with a +0 goal differential and giving up an extra goal per game over the regular season, well... hey, it's all about optimal goal distribution then.
