Too bad Makar isn't so good in EHEC like in real life.
NJ continue to save cap space for the next season and this move just does that.
Lekkerimaki is an interesting offensive forward option for the team going forward.
After getting Doughty and now Rubins, there wouldn't be enough ice time for Makar anymore I'm afraid anyway and need to also open up roster space for other young d-men in Devils system.

We’ve been back and forth about d men for a few months, things finally lined up. Continuing to rebuild the blue line. Makar fits our timeline in multiple ways. Young enough to stay if he fits, also could be flipped with his 1y remaining.
